Under the U.S. World Order which was emerged after the end of the World
War II, the United States government has taken its role in intervening Thai politics.
This thesis discovers that the U.S. government had supported both Police and
Military groups in the Phibun’s government which prompted the political situation in
Thailand become stable. This dynamic enabled the Thai government to pursue
foreign policies that complied with the U.S. interest.
